The friends found a strange old map under the bed. Its paper was ancient, yellow, carrying a weird smell.
Previously, three friends had met at night, hoping to find buried treasures in abandoned mansions, as it was holiday.
First, they climbed the hill to look in ‘’The ghost house’’, as it was called. Then, they saw that the first floor wasn’t special at all. Climbing the ladder to the second revealed a big bed, and under it was a map. Suddenly, the door opened with a screeching sound, as footsteps were heard. After that, the friends hid in one drawer. ‘’Hey John, someone had already been here.’’, said one voice. The other agreed, and started digging in one corner, finding a treasure. ‘’What if they still are here?’’ said the voice again. Realizing that, they both climbed the stairs and as they were opening the drawer, the floor broke and they fell to the ground. They ran away carrying the treasure.
Finally, the boys were saved but their treasure indicated by the map had been taken.
